"Remittance" wins at the Brooklyn Film Festival

Remittance wins "Best Screenplay" and "Best Actress" at the Brooklyn Film Festival. This is Joel Fendelman's second feature film in the festival. His first narrative feature "David" screened at the festival in 2011.

It is especially exciting to be rewarded for best screenplay... tell the story of how you did Remittance going over to Singapore etc and why the film is current and socially relevant. Blabla.

Also how cool it is that a maid wins best actress.
